How is the examination going?

  1. You come to the clinic where the doctor explains the course of the procedure.
  2. Depending on the area examined, you will be asked to release the specific body part from clothing and jewellery.
  3. A special gel will be applied to the skin to help transmit ultrasonic waves.
  4. With the probe, the doctor will check the examination area and observe tissue structures in real time.
  5. A posture change or short breath delay may be required during the examination.
  6. After performing the described examination, your doctor will describe the examination and provide an excerpt.

What can be examined with USG?

Joints:

  • Fluid accumulation in joints or their bags
